I may have posted this before, but I just can’t resist looking at the size of this plane and then watching it take off like a small commercial plane, is amazing.

And this one is the SMALLER model.

Looking at it from the front you can see the wings hang approximatley 25-30′ as it sits on the ground.Once she starts to rumble down the runway you can see that 30′ wing deflection rise dang near to the top of the fuselage.

Cargo load was 8 new commercial garbage trucks, and it stil flys.

Looks like a P-4 10 pound walleye in spring.

    Thanks for sharing old man!

I’m sure it’d be measured in gallons per mile, not mpg

I was trying to look up the Gallons Per Hour of the An-124-100. Not easily found.

Here are couple more from last summer, when they were hauling Cranes,Front End Loaders, and excavators.
Both ends of the plane open for loading equipment, The crane in the picture is being driven into the nose of the plane.

It’s pretty awesome to see how much eqipment they can put inside.

I saw this last summer while my road crew was painting by the airport! Seeing it in person is something worth doing seeing before you die! Its hard to imagine something of this size can fly
