Why do they call them sporting goods stores then?

Why are you shopping for fishing at a sporting goods store? Sporting goods stores have sports equipment and apparel and a tiny section dedicated to fishermen. Why do they call it a bait shop? Thats where I shop at.

I just hope Daytons ploy buys us an additional year or 2 before the Vikings EXTORT more monies up and beyound the insane amount they are ripping us off to begin with!

Take a look at the new dealerships the Twins owners have been buying over the past few years vs. investing in a team…

    Hmmmmm…..

    It is just business.

$20,000 for the “license” to buy a $175 ticket to sit outside in below zero temps to watch the Vikings loose? Yeah right,…I’ll be in my ice house. If it wasn’t for DVR (whole game in 35 minutes) I wouldn’t even watch them.

Gov Dumbass is as it again. Is it any surprise he doesn’t remember it being in there, I mean the Dems passed Obamacare and said “It doesn’t matter what’s in it, we’ll read it later, it just needs to be passed”. These idiots all need to be voted out. If you run a business and can get more money for your product, you are a pretty bad business owner to not pursue that. They never said they would do it or to what extent, it’s just something on the table. If people will pay it then they’ll do it. You won’t see the tens of thousands for a seat license in this market.

I have read the entire 70 page document and I have yet to find the part where it says the Vikings can charge 10 to 80 grand PER SEAT for the permision to spend another $2,000 Per season ticket seat?

That being said, I suppoose we ALL should just be happy we got the Stadium to begin with…

Found it… page 68… last sentence, “stadium builder’s licenses”

Thats pretty broad as is often the case in legislation and it appears not every card was face up on the table.

Seemed to be a lot of people who couldn’t wait for us in the metro to pay for this stadium, I hope they’re not complainning about ticket prices now??

After all, ziggy is entitled to a profit.
