I just wanted to take the time to thank the service department from Bay City Hardware. If your looking to have some outboard work done you will appreciate their honesty and fairness, they really care about retaining customers and I appreciate that. 
They are a top notch organization. 
Yes Ive had a very good experience also. Two winters ago I made the 2 hour trip to pool 4 to find out the starter went out in my main motor. A quick trip to Bay City Hardware (on a Saturday) and their mechanic wasnt there but I was allowed to rob a starter off a brand new motor that was identical to mine that they had on the showroom floor.
I think the owner said he had just bought the business but had the same mechanic that had been there for years.
Great place to buy or rent Kayaks also!
Dan kern is there mechanic and he is ONE OF THHE BEST.. …rrr
