It has happened that last two times out. The batteries are fully charged, the electrical connections look good, the battery in the remote is strong. So…setting the speed from 0 all the way up seems to work just fine for a couple of hours. As the day goes on, the motor at any speed just stops. I can still turn the motor left or right with no problems but no prop. If I shut it all down and start it back up it may run for a short time and then stop. At the end of the day I couldn’t get it to run at all. The built in battery monitor shows all 4 bars. I have also tried using the foot pedal and it acts the same as using the remote.

I still have a week of fishing left so any suggestions before I call service and spend a week wishin I was fishin?

I had the same problems with my last boat. Larger batteries…group 31 cured my issues. Hopefully this helps!

Can I guess you have a 24 or 36v system. I would bet you have a battery that is failing before the others. I am not sure how the Batt. gauge works exactly, does it read volts or amps?
Load test each battery or use a multi meter to test every battery when the problem is occurring, I would bet one batt is bad.

I had the same thing happen before… try removing the prop to see if stuff (line/weeds) is wrapped up in there. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Had the exact same problem with my previous motor. after a few hours of that, it quit working all together. Mine threw a magnet and needed to go in for repairs.

Is there an auto reset breaker that is failing on you? I would start there and then if thats ok, it sounds like a battery is failing
