I was talking to Brian Petschl at MOHA. Sounds like they aren’t going to be selling them this year.

Ya know………………..with the great photography and location shots that IDO produces they could do a pretty awesome calender themselves. Maybe even dedicate 1 or 2 months a year to member photo’s. Could run a contest to select those.

Something for those with time on their hands to think about.

You might even be able to sell some sponsor ads on those BK!!!

Everts is going big on calenders for 2013.

The regular calender for a regular price then a special calender that comes with launch passes for those that fish P-4. Last years calenders were a huge savings for the regular.

Brian, back in 2004ish, I led the charge to have a Ido Pro Staff calender made… unfortunately none of the guys wanted to pose nude, well…except me.

    Kinda fell a part.

Snap-on tools puts out a calender with customers cars on them. They will put 3 photos on each month I think. Member photos on each month and some of IDO’s great pics would make a neat calender. I’d buy one.

I understand why it fell apart. Thanks for saving us. I’m glad the other staff members have a little pride. I do like the idea of a normal IDO calender though.

Why not??? Not the $$$$ maker they thought it would be, or did some other group fuss about giving away guns????

Don McMillian, the MOHA President died unexpectedly this summer.

I’m only speculating here, but those were some pretty big shoes to fill on a short notice.

I did hear that there are many groups making calendars now and it’s lost some of it’s uniqueness.

2012 certainly has been a challenge for MOHA with the loss of our past president Don McMillan, however we are back on our feet and strong as ever. This past summer the board reviewed the subject of continuing the calendar and it was decided to hold off to see how things go with this type of fundraiser. Currently there are numerous calendar raffles available, including many of our own members, and we left that at this time the risk vs. reward was not worth taking. We’d like to thank those who have purchased them in the past and we will be sure to let you all know if we start it up again in the future. If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to let me know.

One of these days I’m going to buy you a root beer. Maybe even an A&W.
