    Caught over the weekend on the Northwest Bay of Rainy Lake! We had a cool start friday afternoon at 45 degrees. But it warmed up nicely to the mid 50’s for sat., sun., and mon.

    Here it is: 29.75 in. and guessing aroung 9.5-10 lbs.!

    And another nice 27.5″ fish:

    3 of us caught over 150 fish in just 3 days of fishing, with over half of them being in the 20″+ range. Gotta love the jig and minnow bite up there! We had some excellent fish fries! I just can’t get enough of Canada!

    Congrats Paul. Those are awesome fish and pictures. How about getting Tom to spring for a replica for T&T?

    Thanks guys! We didn’t target any crappies as the eyes were on fire. It sure has turned into a trophy fishery! Saw a 32″ around 12 lbs that didn’t survive the fight, that some guys had at the landing. That was unreal! Spring isn’t going to come fast enough! Thankfully P4 is only 25 mins to keep that itch at bay.
