We were out on the east side of Mille Lacs Monday around 3pm
& looked up & saw this sun,can’t say I have ever seen anything like it.(crappy phone pic)
Fishing was dead! we tried everything,hardly saw a fish on the electronics.
(blaming it on the sun)
A “halo” around the Sun is usually caused by high ice clouds, and can signal rain where it is the leading edge of high cirrus clouds produced by storms.
