I’m looking at a picture resizing program and there are two choices…..32 bit and 64 bit. Being the computer illiterate that I am, can someone explain the difference and which one I would likely download. Thanks

32 bit and 64 bit are based on your system. Your windows program is either 32 or 64. If you have a 64 you can download either one, but 64 would be best. If you have a 32 bit system you can only download the 32. Your system cant compute the 64 bit program. No up converting basically. Check to see what your system is. Got to your control panel. Then system and security. Then basic information. A break down of your system details will come up. Look down in the middle where it says “system type” It will say windows vista 32, vista 64, windows 7 64 bit…… Message me if you need more direction.

I like Photoscape for resizing and other basic manipulation. It has some nice preset effects and other nice features. For instance when I want to resize a picture I can just enter the size in the “reduce the longer length” to X. The interface is real nice and easy. And it is free.

Resize Imagages online if you don’t have to do a batch at a time. very simple and no need to download the program.
