thinking of buying a trailer to really enjoy retirement, camping and boating.. problem at the entry of my alley there is quite a difference between the street and the alley and I am afraid the trailer will bottom out in the back when I enter and exit..any ideas? thanks

looks like you need to buy a house in the country also.

I’ve seen some trailers with longer overhangs actually have little wheels back there. The other thing they will have is a steel skid made for that to protect the trailer. Look at the trailer for that and ask specifically about steep aprons/approaches, some may have something and some don’t. Others may have better info about specific brands, good luck.

Park the trailer on the street in front of your house, ask your councilman to fix it, go to Menards and buy some asphalt to fix it or buy some lumber to put in it while you drive over it, rent a place to store your trailer or buy a trailer with a high frame that can drive over it. Good luck.

Get a high rider Then you can go off road with it too

probably storage would be best! At least until I can get the city to repair the alley entrance:)
