I’m looking for a new line recommendation for pitching jigs on P4. Currently using Sufix Elite HiVis Yellow 8lb test on spinning reel. Seems to hold too much memory and also getting some line twist.
I like mono as usually catch a few snags each time I’m out and seems to slow the fall some too. Would any of the superlines (832, Power Pro, Etc.) give me any advantage?

I like suffix 832. No memory and super smooth casting. And i can feel soo much more while jigging.

832 casts very well, can feel bottom and light bites, and great hooks sets with it.

I use 832 and it works very well. Seem to be able to “feel” better with it.

For pitching, I’m old school like Brett King. 8# mono Berkley Sensation. I guess if I was going to verticle jig all day, I’d use a super line like fireline or power pro. Just don’t do much vert jigging on P2.

I also like Suffix 832 in 10lb for pitching. You have to keep in mind it has a break in period during which it can be a pain in the neck. Power pro also has a break in period. I like Sufix 832 for pitching and vertical jigging and 20lb power pro for dragging all in high vis.
