Well, how ’bout that? I was fully expecting a full scale whoopin’ at the hands of the Niners and the guys in purple actually played… fairly well.

Well, I think we know the Packers would beat SF by 30 if they EVER played them AT Lambeau.

I too was expecting to have nothing to cheer for, pleasantly shocked 2-1, not too bad.

Great game for Vikings, Ponder seems to be coming along nicely!

I think we need the Regular Ref’s back, watched too many games where they’ve screwed up.

    But, Vikings did well

The Vikes got an interception, held a lead for an entire game, made another 50+ yard field goal, blocked another field goal, and looked pretty good…. Oh Lord! I am getting hopeful again and we all know these things end every year.

Whoa there… we need to slow this down… the hardest thing about jumping on the band wagon is getting back off.

Ponder has looked good so far this season

How bout that Gerhart fellow, we could go a long way with him

I think they should trade AP

your welcome. I had Alex Smith this week, so I was rooting for him to get me points. Who did I sit? Payton Manning. I bought into the arm strength, or lack there of, people were speculating about. Plus I figured against the Vikings D he should at least have a solid game.

That wasn’t a fluke. Vikes whipped em. Great tackling by defense

No Bandwagon here. I have been watching them for 40 years and the only time the Vikes season ends with a win is when they don’t make the playoffs and I am not sure how many times that has happened. They have made the playoffs 24 times and always manage to come up short. Someday they will win it all! They are still my team no matter what.

Corey, you better hope that Stafford makes it back before you get too cocky…

Yes the Vikings played very well, but one game does not a season make.

It would be nice if they have at least a few more efforts like that the balance of the season!

Was a good game to watch even the clown show at the end..
A lot like watching a movie that you think you know the ending and just waiting for the other shoe to drop and are surprised it went in a different direction.

I was hoping that the ref’s screw-up wouldn’t end up costing them the game. The Queen’s played well and deserved to win, and I’m glad they did.

That surely was a gong show at the end. And we werent the only team that nearly lost a game because of it. I hope they figure it out soon. It’s one thing to miss calls or not be able to keep up with the speed of the game, it’s a whole other thing when they dont know the rules, time after time!

My thought was, why don’t they have one ref tune into the game like we do and they can listen to what the former Head of Officials says the call should be, when the announcers ask him…

Exactly what i thought, they need to feed in the broadcast into those little mickymouse ears they put on underneat the review hood!

It was a good win, but from the start of the game it was obvious to me that the Niners had decided this one was in the “win” column before the opening kickoff.

Lots of sloppy play, but to their credit, the Vikes actually managed to take advantage of at least enough of it to get the win. Although the Replacement Ref Clown College was trying really hard to hand the game back to the Niners. Wow. Good thing the Vikes recovered that fumble after that illegal challenge by SF.

The Vikes are going to need to tighten things up a lot and keep a handle on the ball. It was like watching a “what not to do” video with ol’ Greasyfingers Gerhart.

Nice to see Ponder stepping up and giving SF a good dope slap with that opening drive. The SF defense suddenly realized that this wasn’t going to be the vacation day that they had planned.

I hope the Vikes don’t start believing the hype. Detroit can put points on the board and if the Vikes don’t keep a handle on the ball and their D off the field, they’ll pay for it.

This week, makes Colts game even more frustrating

Oh well, signs of optimism and if they can roll that effort and play out consistently, could be a decent season….
