So my wife and I are heading to Turtle Lake to the casino tomorrow night for our anniversary, just wondering of any restaurant recommendations between hudson to turtle lake, or even better if there is any right around Turle Lake, WI? Thanks for the input!

Wade,
Can’t say there is any place between Hudson and Turtle Lake that stands out worth recommending and I go back and forth most every weekend. Pardise Supper Club on Balsam Lake is a really cool place. I’ve ate burgers and wings in the bar area and they were really good. They have a dining room with fine dining if that is your desire.September 21, 2012 at 4:31 am #1100158The primerib sandwich is hard to beat at the casino deli.
otherwise the Hotel bar in turtle lake is a nice little beer & burger joint with daily dinner specials.
Good luck & enjoy the area.September 21, 2012 at 4:33 am #1100159Dallas house in st croix fall or Pardise landing on balsam lake.

The Laurel which is quit a bit east of New Richmond is also great for a dinner but you might not want to spend that much time.
I live in Amery and would be happy to get you exact directions to both.
Have fun!

September 21, 2012 at 12:55 pm #1100187Mike is right on. The Laurel has great food in an old fashioned supper club setting, and Paradise Landing also has excellent food and a very nice atmosphere especially out on their patio. It overlooks the lake and there are a couple fire pits out there. My wife and I went on our first date there, and we may be there on Sat night to celebrate our anniversary.
September 21, 2012 at 1:12 pm #1100189Pheasant Inn is a fovorite of mine, but that would be quite a bit north.
A great choice though.Directions in case you chose one.
Paradise.
Hwy 8 TO hwy 46 north (to town OF balsam lake). When arriiving in south end of Balsam lake, you want to take a right (east) on cty rd I. Few miles out of town on your left.Laurel Inn
Hwy 64 east out of New Richmond. Guessing about 6-7 miles. It will be on your right (south side of road) shortly after you see cty rd T intersection.Kris’s Pheasant Inn.
Hwy 35 north to Town of Siren. Will be on your left (west side of main street) about mid way through town.
If you do decide on Paradise, when you lease you can take cty rd I to the east.
You will come to a fairly sharp turn on I which goes left, or north.
Continue straight east at that curve (it will be 170th street). Take that until it ends (beleive it’s two stop signs and that will be cty rd H. Take a right and that will take you right back to HWY 8. Take a left on 8 and it will take you right to Turtle Lake. Way shorter than going back to 46 south!Oh yeh, there’s also a newer pretty nice place called crickets which is on cty rd H Just north of hwy 8 and just east of hwy 46 south (going back into amery).
