Looking for a used truck

I’m in the market for a used truck. I’d like the crew cab and a topper. I’m pulling an 18 foot boat and possibly a small camper in the spring. I don’t need a bunch of fancy luxuries. I’d like a V8 and a bed liner. Can anyone put me in the right direction? I just about pulled the trigger on a 2010 GMC Sierra. It had everything I needed and only 32K miles. But, it sold this morning.

Couldn’t find anything that was a crew cab with a topper in my price range. Think I found an ’06 Ford f150xlt crew with 40K miles. Going to have to put a topper on it, though.

largest item I pulled was a Ranger 620, pulled fine, very similar to my old duramax diesel in regards to low end power. Very strong/powerful in the lower gears and amazed at the 60-65mph power range when needed to pass. I prefer to have the bigger gas tank vs the 25 gallon it has now really the only reason why I would sell it.

    Suzuki,

Not ONE person on this site would ever be able to look at your truck and even come close to guessing the mileage. 148K on your truck, being driven on the highway to your cabin and back ever weekend, is hardly abused. In fact, I’d consider it barely used.

One may have to deduct $$ for those nose prints on your passenger side window and windshield though…

I know of someone who has an ’02 Chevy Crew 4×4, 8′ box no topper or bedliner, with an 8.1 and Allison transmission, just over 100k. New tires, shocks, battery, and plugs. I could find out the price if you’re interested.

Thanks for all of the tips. I found an ’06 F150 XLT. I’m going to need to put a topper on it, but I couldn’t pass it up. 42K miles and a sale price of 15K.
