Just got back from LOW. Fished western Sabaskong Miles Bay, 3 sisters and around Pony for walleyes. Caught a few on the reefs ( lots of rock bass). Caught a lot on the points and heavy current on windy days. Also small humps at varying depths. Fish seemed scattered except in high wind. Chart.or pink jig heads tipped with nightcrawlers worked best. Sometimes adding white bodies. Pulling Flicker Shads in mouse worked well. Also 2 oz. bottom bouncers with spinners using white beads and copper blades worked well at 1 to 1.5 mph. We caught a 28 inch toad that weighed 9.2, and two 25 inchers. Many were between 18 and 24. Lots of catch and release and several new P.B.s for people. A great lake with great friends equals great shore lunch’s,great fishing and loads of memories.. What a week.
