Minnkota Genesis

    Just bought a boat with a 45″ 74lb. Minnkota Genesis. The previous owner had nothing but love for this unit, so much love he threw in an additional (barely used) 55″ 74lb. Genesis with the deal. Now, from what I understand there is/was a love/hate relationship with these units. My questions are, is there any value to these units if I decide to part ways with them and pick up a Terrova? Or am I better off sticking with one and selling the other? Or keep them both and figure out if they’d fit my needs? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated… THANKS IDOers!

    I still have my Genesis. Continues to work. Love the motor. The only reason I have thought about getting rid of it is to upgrade to an I-Pilot model. Was going to do it this past year, however, I will be waiting to see if there is a future enhancement to connect to a Lowrance unit before I take the plunge.
