Is there such a thing as a well behaved lab? My lab (also 6) is the devil.

My favorite lady/fishing/hunting/ companion of all time Maddie. She is 10 yrs old and goes everywhere with even to work; her birthday is tomorrow . I am even getting choked up thinking she doesn’t have too many years left with me and I will have to find a new best friend.

Here is an older one of Bessie. She is 10 now and a little gray around the toes, nose, and tip of tail. Border lab mix. Very fast swimmer when she was younger. this was taken 6 years ago. Back when the boys were tiny she would protect them and try to keep them cleaned up. She was just like a nanny only cheaper.

I didn’t see anywhere that this is specifically about dogs, so I’m posting a picture of my awesome cats! Friday, Boots, and Kiki.

This here is my border college kid. It took years to train but turned out pretty darn good. The expenses however for owning one is off the charts.

My yellow lab Flash. 1 and 1/2 years old. 90 pounds of retrieving machine that still thinks he’s a lap dog.

Pointer? Shoot, no way. Not a Lab, either. Kinda more like a Rottail Finder.

We walk in the woods near my house. Lots of Turkeys. He will go on point when he sees one.

Walleyes, yea probably walleye cheer leader is a better name to call him.

Does that type of breed retrieve birds too or just points and laughs when you miss?

After the vision I created about our 2AM potty breaks I really hesitate to send the one I took of our little 9 wk old Bella. Instead, I’ll do the vet visit. Nicknamed “Taz”- – jerr

Cappy is the big boy. He knows when a fish is on, and I’m pretty sure he gets more excited about than I do. I think he also gets more upset than I when a fish gets off.

Milly is the little girl. She is giving Cappy a run for his money for co-angler of the year.
