The driver got slammed pretty good. They are really lucky no one died since no one was wearing life jackets.

Seen that video. Goes to show you these boats are not as safe as the driver thinks they are.

The video is eerie as I was involved in something very similar in same style of boat but with a cuddy on the St.Croix. We came to dead stop from 65mph I was in the passenger seat and the driver was thrown against me driving me into the wing window breaking it and pushing the aluminum frame out 3 ft. We were very lucky neither of us got seriously hurt or the gall in the cuddy. Though I do remember getting up off the floor then sitting back down while my friend was shaking me, after that the next thing I remember was we were on shore.

I have an appreciation of what waves can do first hand and something like this can happen when not expected to any type of boat. OH! I now dislike these these type of boats.

The Formula we were in was totaled by the insurance company deemed structurally unsound.

The worst that happened to us as injuries were we all suffered severe muscle aches for 3 days from the sudden impact. These people are going to ache for a while.

Isn’t jumping wakes fun! Not to mention safe! There are a few clowns I see that should have this learning experience.

Notice how the guy just gets knocked out standing up?

No doubt and the key lanyard wouldn’t be a bad idea. Just my opinion but don’t most sensible boaters try and at least slow down a bit coming up on or after hitting a big wake so that doesn’t happen.

I’ve watched this about a dozen times, looks like the boat flew about 6 feet on the second bounce, the driver is bouncing around so much he accidently gives more throttle compounding the problem. The guy in blue in the back seat nails his head three times, the guy laying on the back at the end didn’t seem to get the worst of it. I know, I know you guys think I’m a queer! At first I thought it kinda funny, then I just shake my head. Rookie mistake.

That’s what happened to me in my death defying ATV accident.

Best thing about them big fast raceboats with the flames on
the sides is that they go away quickly.
Had an aunt who used ta say the thing she liked best about
some motorcycles was when they left…

I have watched it 12 times as well but I have mostly been checking out the girl riding shotgun.

I think I might have checked her out a couple times too.

Man does she ever get her bell rung.

Notice how the wave isn’t very big, but upsets the plane of the boat very easily.

I can’t believe how close and how fast some of those vehicles were traveling. Didn’t even seem as though any slowed down…very disappointing.
