    Suckerslayer, this is your fault!!

Although this video made me roll my eyes and laugh out loud, the guy was pretty good at figuring out how to tell when a mole was on the move.

Hey FW! Will you hold the bucket for me!?

Does this guy qualify as a tool? A really nice tool but a tool none the less.

Rolling my eyes at the video indeed.

I’ll help you Brian, if you help me with mine. The neighbor lady says just flood the holes and they pop up. That seems easier.

Man they make lawn mowing a pain. I probably wouldn’t have any if I didn’t dump night crawlers in the yard.

I haven’t had trouble with moles since the FW has me treating the lawn for ticks (and grubs). Once in a while one will venture in and my little loop trap snaps one. Much better then “mole poling” up the whole yard!

Near as I can guess, I’ve had a couple in the last 5 or so years.

PS spraying beer on your lawn or placing bubble gum in the mole runs don’t work. That’s a fact.

I dont understand why the guy doesnt like them tunneling under his dirt… I mean yard? You live in the woods, your yard is just dirt, but you dont like moles living UNDER the yard? Someone needs to teach him how to fish so he can get a real hobby… oh wait, maybe not- he would be flipping rocks with his mole pole trying to find the fish.

Why would the guy fish……after all, the fish aren’t doing anything to bother him?

If you’d just let a couple snakes live in the yard, they’d take care of the moles for you as nature intended.

From the way I read this, you want fish fertilizer for your illegal garden in Iowa??

I couldnt even finish it. Guy destroys his yard chasing moles. He would have been better off letting them stay.

Some dude tearing the crap out of his yard because he’s too sissy to kill a mole with proven conventional methods.

I tend to remove the high hemeglobin content with the pitchfork or shovel.

I got such a maze that I have no idea where to begin. I’ve had moles before, but they usually are only there for a few weeks in the spring. I don’t even know if I still have one.

Nothing like mowing your lawn and dulling your blades when they scrape the surface or stopping you in your tracks when the wheels sink in a path. Hell, even I would use lethal methods.

Pug, take 2 shovels and the garden hose. Block off a short length of the trail with the shovels. Then put the garden hose full throttle down into the trail next to one of the shovels. The water will flood the trail, causing any mole between the shovels to come shooting out of the ground. Be ready to kill’em, cuz they are really fast at disappearing back into the ground. If none come out, pull the one shovel and alternate shovels down the trail till you either get the mole(s) or you’ve chased them out. It is effective, but this can make a mess out the yard too! Another good way is to simply walk along the trail with a pitchfork and stab away. That way you can flatten the trail out as you go, too.

From an Ol-Timer, he taught me the easy way.

    “CAUTION: Not PETA Approved”

All you need is an Approx. 1/2″ dia stick and a can of Drano Crystals ( 100% LYE ).

Walk along Moles pathways and poke holes every 5ft +/- and pour a tablespoon of Drano in each hole.

The Moles get the drano on their feet, burning them, they then chew their foot off killing themselves.

    Alas, No more MOLES!

Will the same happen if we put some on the docks of lakeshore property owners who favor gated lakes?

If you gated your yard and made everyone who came in there get an inspection and display a B.I.S. (Burrowing Invasive Species) sticker, maybe you wouldn’t have a mole problem.

PLUS … Don’t forget the 140 degree high-pressure shower stall that needs to be set up between the sidewalk and your yard gate

I can’t decide if this indicates we’ve come a long way since the old days or if we’ve gotten really squishy and sensitive since the old days…

Jeeze… I’m not above killing the little beasts (my ankles turn really easily… The moles in my yard are brutal on them) but burning off their feet with draino? Dayum…
