My sister and her new husband are going to Cabo January 5th-12th for their honeymoon and I told them I have heard this is a world class fishing location. They both want to go try some fishing while down there. Does anyone on here have some experience in this area or know anything/anyone I could point them in the direction of? I would love to help them find a great trip to go on a day or two.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Many Years ago we fished with a Charter named Pisces. We caught the heck out of the stripped marlin. We sold our catch the first day at the dock for more money than the days fishing cost us. We had 4 guys and everyone caught 2 and 1 caught 3 – Crazy fishing !!! we went back out the next day and caught another 6 fish and then switched to some Yellowfin tuna and did well on them. There was a place near the marina that if you gave then a few fish would cook up the best cut for you and serve it will all the fixings. That is what we did with the Tuna. I have wanted to go back and do that again but have not made it back.

    Jigs,
I am going down to San Jose del Cabo in Feb. my brother and sister in law live down there most of the year in Los Barielles not too far from there. They said most of the bill fishing starts in march and april, not sure about the tuna and other species like rooster fish. If I talk to them soon, I’ll report back,
I’d ask F.Thumper what month he experienced his fishing, am sure it is not in January.
    more soon
    Jack
