Going to have to show this to the FW. I keep telling her we need to get rid of all those @#$@^&*# flowers and shrubs. Now I can tell her they are dangerous.
I was actually hauling up hose after giving my mushroom logs a couple hours of water. Ma’s plants got some water too and I was moving the sprinkler to another section of lawn. Landed on a pipe at the corner of one such bed that keeps the hose from running thru her plants.
Tom, I think it needed to a bit more dramatic story like you were struggling to keep a potential state record perch from flopping out of the boat when it got you with its gill plate. Unfortunately the fish flipped over the side of the boat while you fought to keep from bleeding to death. No fish picture, but you have the scare to prove it! Hope your FW understands hazard pay
Tell her that Dr. Vinny Goombah (You know, Rodney Dangerfields personal physican) says in order to prevent a repeat of this dangerous misstep, you’re to stay away from both the flowers and the hose. That oughta do it….
Getting the bandage off at the er was fun. Now for the next couple of days waiting to see where the swelling goes with this. Right now I’m thinking I should have stayed home and just let the leg be. I heard all kinds of scenarios and all of them involve surgery….if the swelling continues. Damn.
