I have MKA-32 Quick Release Bracket with Cover and it works well.

Pay the extra for this one.Just put one on my Terrova and tested on Rainy.Rock solid, very easy to take the motor on and off.I’ve had the others, this one is worth the price.

MKA-21 is a much quieter and eye pleasing design. I normally am not a plastic parts guy but after the clanking and vibrating noises I got from my old trolling motor mount (MKA 32) I would not recommend the MKA 32.

Both will work, but the 16 is quiet and sleeker in my opinion.

Contrary to what Mark had just said , I will attest to the rest of the posters for the MKA 32! I’ve got it on my boat as well; love it after having the MKA 16, which was a pain in the arse!

I agree with this 100% never had any issues or problems, super quiet and best of all if I do take it off I don’t have to worry about some one getting scratched or injured on the mount. Plastic is the way to go imho, if you really intend to take it off, and still use the boat.
