I am looking for some help with some drafting issues, like creating linetypes with text mainly. I would also like to learn how to create lisp routines and was wondering if a certian book was better than another. Any help would be nice!

For AutoCAD I have many, many including some you can specify on the fly the Text to insert.

AutoCAD, I have been working with Map3D 2011 and Civil 3D 2012. The problem I am having is that I go and create the linetype using notepad by copying another text linetype that has been included with CAD, it does not fully work. It is hard to explain, basically the text font goes to a larger scale and I can not see the text if my lines are less than 400 ft without changing the scale. Like I said it is hard to explain this. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the help Carroll58, the linetypes are now working and I am a happy camper.
