    What a beautiful family pic, the mama, pappy, and 5 or 6 kids if I count right.
    It is a real treat to see a site like that close up. Nice post.

    Actually two hens with a shared group between them. Was 13 young a few weeks ago. Now down to 8. Yotes or hawks are eating too. They come by every day. One hen leading and one following. This morning about 6:30 they were out back and only 6 young. One hen was clucking away and down the hill in the woods you could hear the two little ones kee keeing. Took almost 30 min before everyone united and things got quiet.
