Little Bohemia Lodge is the place where John Dillinger had his infamous shoot out with police. They have good food and some cool memorabilia/historic stuff there.

It’s in Manitowish Waters, about 20 miles north of Minocqua. http://littlebohemialodge.com/

Minocqua,Thirsty Whale, there is a place on 51 just north of where 47 branches off to the west, it is on the east side of the road. Food is good there. In Rhinelander, go to Fishers on Lk George, very good food.

A little place east of Minocqua towards St. Germaine. It is called Blink Bonny’s. Steaks are GREAT. It has been voted best steaks in the Midwest by Snowgoer magazine. Only problem, get there by 4:30 or wait till 8:00. Place is that busy.

If you wouldn’t mind a little ride of about 20 min. East of Minocqua/Woodruff, I’d strongly recommend Fibbers on Big St. Germain Lake. Great food/service and the prices aren’t bad, either.

I camp in Minocqua every weekend during the summer, In fact I,m here right now camping and enjoying a fire, we’ve been getting a great tasting rib eye at Fibbers. Fishing guide Rob Manthie owns it. Rainbow Shores Bar and Grill on the Rainbow Flowage has one of the better fish fries too.

Best fish fry : family style is Popes Greshem lodge 20 or miles north of Minoquoa west of Hwy 51. OMG that fish is to die for. Why cant anyone get a clue in the Eau Claire area about how to fry fish?
