The class envy does not belong in this incident or any other debate. I fail to see why money has anything to do here. How many members here own lake property or would like to? hmmmmm
This is not class envy its more about anger about what some with wealth do to get what they want using that money while trampling over others. That is where money comes into play.
I agree lumping all people with wealth together as a certain stereo type is misguided. Then again throwing out “class envy” is rather misguided considering the growing trend of separation of those with wealth and those with out over the last 3 decades..
Same with Lake associations as there are lake assoc. that do great work for the lakes they are trying to manage but no one can deny the fact there are rouge associations out there that somehow are getting their way which is threatening all of us as more rouge associations pop up. We already see evidence of these rouges power and that is scaring me. All it takes is a rouge association with a sympathetic ear of a representative or town council then next we will see legislation giving more power to them. Oh, wait! That already has happened.
