Hey guys Im going up to Woman Laken this year for walleye opener. Trying something a little different and was wondering who’s fished it and if you have had any luck?? Also I need some tips on how to fish the lake and the HOT spots!

For the opener I would check out the smaller lakes and the channels between the lakes. On Woman check out the points, two of my favorite are Spains and Stoney. I like to longline livebait rigs drifting or trolling the points. Don’t be afraid of going up shallow. The lake is real clear so if you find a shallow bite you may have to pull out after you boat a few fish. After giving it some time slip back in to see if the fish have moved back in. Besides the eyes we also had some great pike action. Good luck and let us know how you do.
