I’ve checked craigslist and not coming up with anything decent. Where could I purchase one new in the metro area. Not enough room in garage for a two up.

Wouldn’t Northern Tool, Fleet Farm, or Menards sell trailers?

depends on what you’ll be towing, if a sled, then I would avoid the trailers at home improvement stores and get a good Tritan or Floe at a Rec Vehicle dealership. If towing smaller stuff (portable ice shelter, brush/misc yard waste, single quad) then the cheaper ones should be fine..

I assume you mean a single place trailer, versus a two place trailer. One up or two up would be referring to the sleds. Just to keep the wording correct for internet searches.

Another heads up is that I have found single place trailers are often hard to come by used and when you find one they are almost as much money as a two place. I have been looking myself also.

I see on Craigslist a Floe for $1100, another single place for $750, another Triton for $1300.

that might be my problem.. seems like they cost as much as the two place trailers.

My bro-in-law has been looking to downsize his 2-place to a 1-place unsuccessfully, too. Although, with his new girlfriend, he might be keeping the 2-place, now.

They are as much. The only added cost of a 2 vs. a 1 place is the raw mat’l. Assembly is pretty much the same and in my days of manufacturing, raw materials cost is minimal, compared to machining, welding and assembly costs.

Without reverse the Featherlite shown could be cumbersome for unloading. Other than that it would work for a short track sled. Nice looking trailer though.
