Apparently Model & Serial number are not the only 2 pieces of information you need off the back of your 8 month old 42″ flat screen power cycling……
You also need a “4 digit service code” according to the 800 service tech on the phone.
So here I am wedged between wall & tv/stand looking for this “4 digit code” while my lovely wife is on the phone with tech support eagerly waiting on me.
Nothing really sticking out as a “4 digit code” to me as I scan the label. Mexico this….Mexico that.

(Me) “N”. Wife to service tech “N”.
