Some one posted about his dad having ear problems and that steriods help him regain his hearing. Where was he doctoring at. I woke up with no hearing in my left ear.

If you suddenly lost all hearing in one ear you should go to the doctor asap. Anything sudden like that could be the result of something far worse. Hearing loss is normally gradual.

I experienced the same problem, was treated at Mayo Clinic. the treatment was steroids but you need to see a doctor as it could be other things as Suzuki mentioned.

    Good luck

Suddenly looking hearing is a bad thing. Suddenly loosing anything is a bad thing. Go to a doc please.

I shouldn’t have had my nose in the wedge thread as much.

    Good luck.

Well, got a shot of steriods in my ear! Ouch!!! Doctors say that is about all that can be done. Now, I just wait to see if it works. Still can hear some about 47% in my right ear. Still can stand and SEE straight. So look out walleyes they can’t talk back at me!!!
