    James,
Sorry about the electric and no bass fishing.
Would of thought you’d troll up some nice Walleyes as long as you were already up there.
Check Brad’s report from this last weekend, we had a great time on Sunday.

    Wrong boat. No kicker.

Open water trolling in a bass boat with Chigger Craw’s and Senko’s – Enough bullet sinkers should get those baits down deep enough

Photos of… what? Motor didn’t work. We couldn’t fix it. We went home. Come to think of it I think Greg took some pics of me driving while listening to the radio. I think that sums up our day pretty well. I’ll see if he can post.

You have a camera man and you presumably have oars. I fail to see the problem.

If you don’t have oars, you always have your “kicker”. And by kicker, I mean you have Greg get behind the boat and start kicking.

You’re really too nice of a boss.

Greg better get on here and defend his honor.

Finally something breaks and I wasn’t involved!

It’s much easier to pick on him when he’s not on-line.

He was late but it was my bow mount that made the trip a lost cause. I guess I really don’t have much high ground to stand on with this one.

Now if he’s late again next time….

PS – “next time” is tomorrow morning.

I agree… James; you could have filmed an old school video of two men rowing out to their favorite spot, no Gps , no eletronics, no motors.
Just two friends fishing by using visual landmarks as guidence.
    Black and white film

It would be kind of nostalgic

To go even further you could ask BK to be in it, make it a silent film. Staring BK; as “Charlie Chaplin”.

It’s 8:05. At the landing minus Holst and he said 8AM. Then again, it’s his boat AND Huff is with.

I had a fishing buddy who was constantly late always ten to fifteen minutes. So one morning after waiting ten minutes we left without him.
Solved the problem as he was on time on future trips.

I think it is important to be on time, but I would rather have my fishing buddy show up a few minutes late than knocking on my front door an hour early-waking everyone in the house. My wife loves it when the brother-in-law does that and wakes our now 3 year old daughter.

Nope, I was idling out front with everything packed and ready to roll 30 minutes before the guys were schedule to be at my place. This morning I had two camera guys meeting at my place. I never stood a chance of making it to Joel on time.

Try telling the camera guys that the meeting time is 15 or 30 minutes earlier than you actually intend to leave.

Or……………have them meet you at the landing. If they are late they can wait for you to bring the boat in and pick them up.

Kind of a tough crowd here, glad I’m not a camera guy.

We’re just having fun with this. The guys that work for me put in 12 – 16 hour days, nights, weekends, long trips away from family… I only bring it up because I don’t want ANYONE getting the wrong idea. The IDO camera crew guys are amazing employees.

Of course I tease, harass and beat them up verbally every chance I get. Because I care. But don’t feel sorry for them. They can give as good as they get and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I am pretty sure they do a lot more editing and filming than fishing. James probably lets them cast a dozen or so times every 4 hours on their break.

‘Bout right. Camera guys fish on rainy days when it is too miserable for the gear to be at risk and that’s about it. Same goes for me when it is my turn to run camera.

I do treat the guys to some cool trips throughout the season that aren’t centered around filming so they get a chance to bend a rod on some amazing bites so they don’t feel like they’re missing out.
