Lots of wolves up here in N.E. Sask. . We live by the SSS code. Shoot,Shovel,Shut up. Some areas the outfitters hunters will see more wolves from there blinds than deer. Our DNR have been asked for there be a wolf lic. available to their clients to help control #’s in the forest areas because the trappers are not doing it but they don’t think that is the answer. I think that most of the guys coming up would shoot a wolf over a 155/160 class deer any day of the week because the may never have a chance to kill a wolf. Good Luck MN it sounds like our DNR went to the same dumb [censored] school of thought.

Sounds like we have may have the same motto down here in MN, except most guys I know are two lazy to do the shoveling and obviously the shutting up part. Its pretty bad when you are out at the saloon enjoying a nice cold beverage and the conservation officer swings by to see how deer hunting has been and he tells us if you see one shoot them in the stomach so they run off and he doesn’t have to deal with it.
