I remember years back when little Tijuana was so bad even the health inspectors wouldn’t go in there, great food though..

Anybody know what happened to Chula Vista on Roberts in west St Paul??

They weren’t to bad, but just closed down one day.

We’ve hit Old Mexico on Lexington several times and had good luck, they have a lunch buffet that looks good.

We’ve had good luck with Don Pablo’s and probably is our go to place.

Food is more than a bit subjective to personal taste, we’ve also we’ve found that while some items on a menu didn’t fare to well, others did.

We kinda try to hit a new restarunent two or three times before we write it off…well, there was the time we found a cockroach in the wife’s french fries and she didn’t order meat with her potatoes, we never did go back there.

I’m surprised so many have mentioned Teresa’s. I have not been to the Mendota Heights restaurant, but the one in Golden Valley, while I don’t think it is bad, I would not go out of my way to go there!
