Where to buy a Honda eu200i?

After years of waffling and one $99 generator I am getting close to pulling the trigger. I seem to recall a thread that linked to an obscure site that sold them for $795, but I can’t find it.

Anyone know where the best deal is? (Or selling one?)

Not to throw you off track, but have you compared the Yamaha line of generators?

I saw them down at Bay City Hardware and Marine. I didn’t even know they made them. Comparable in many respects.

From what I have read, they seem quite comparable (unless you get real techincal). I just need a quiet one that can run a small A/C. Do you know prices for that place?

Haven’t any experience with a Yammi gen set but my eu2000i has been serving me well since late ’03. I’ve used it for boondocking, running everything on the 5er but the AC and have built an extended run system for it to leave it run constantly for days on end. Now I carry it in my pickup for cleaning fish at the landing instead of waiting till I get home. Today, as is the norm, it started on the first pull. Before you jump on me about my fish cleaning, Arthur has created a problem for me to hold a regular fillet knife, gotta be an electric jerr

Shoot or call Missy or Sam at Bay City Hardware and Marine a call. They’ll get back to you tomorrow I’m sure.

The EU2000i has a 20 Amp capability… I am thinking 30 is more desireable, to run an AC unit efficiently… I have used this one, just as quiet, great on fuel and powers AC perfectly.. Boliy

I use one every year for the Camp Ripley hunt…. (my buddy owns one) and it is the quietest one in the camp Seriously, it sits right under the bed in the back of my camper and it is really quiet. Also a full tank and it will run alll night without re-fueling Nothing wrong with the Honda or the Yamaha units, but for a hondo more, I would get the 30 amp unit Compare it to the Honda 3000 and this is a steal
