Making Soft Plastis-where to start?

    I have always wondered about making my own plastics for fishing…there are many great products on the market today, but I thought it would be fun to experiment and start making my own (especially after seeing some of ct’s stuff). My question is does anyone know of a place that sells molds and the plastics material that you would recommend? I am mainly looking at making minnow style baits-2-3″ range. If anyone has any help that’d be awesome. Thanks

    This is something I’m very interested in also. I have yet to start the investment, but I’d love to pick this up as a hobby. I’m not sure I’m artistic enough though.

    Dont even bother with them. Their stuff is all high priced and geared towards the beginner that doesnt shop around.

    Look at bearsbaits.com and read the forum, more info than you could want.
