question: is this for bait? someone’s pet they released and thought it would survive in fresh water?

    is someone messing with me??

it was dead, brought it home (made my friend freak out HER backseat)

Geeze, the poor thing! At least it’s more interesting than a bra I snagged a few years ago. On second thought, that bra was quite interesting.

It’s a tradition in Detroit to throw an octopus onto the ice during the playoffs.

Sadly, this year Nashville tried their version with catfish.

It isn’t April first is it? You aren’t pulling our legs?

I wonder if someone dumped a bunch of dead octopus in there in the hopes someone would catch it and cause a news story. I mean, what are the chances you would snag 1 tossed in there, especially when you consider, unless it was soaked in formaldehyde, it would rot away fairly fast. And that doesn’t even look like it is starting to rot.

You’re lucky it wasn’t alive. Imagine the fun you’d have trying to untangle it from your net.

I see some young kid, who threw it in the lake so he would not have to eat Moms latest calimari dish that she got off the Food Network.

Or; it could have been her hubbie!
