The Red Door is a sponsor of IDO and is a great place to stay. Also, there will be lots of great info there, on where to fish the lake too. Have fun with your grandson, it’s been a great year on the pond

I am here right now! My Family rented a house on the lake. We are about 1/2 mile west of the Red Door. If I were to stay at a Resort, I would recommend the Red Door as well. Looks nice, nice little place to eat, seems very well kept. Fishing right out the front door! I also have stayed at Appledorns which is located on the south end of the lake. Also a nice place, but I like the fishing on the north side better.

Red Door and Hunters Point Resort are both good. There are two good guides that guide out of Red Door.
