Did the Wild Sign a Goon?

    I heard rumors the Wild signed a goon/enforcer. Cant seem to find out who it is ??

    They did re-sign Matt Kassian to a 2yr deal. Last year he played 24 games and had 55 PIM. Yep..must have been him you heard about.

    They signed Zenon Konopka from Ottawa. Last season had almost 200 penalty minutes in just 55 games which could classify him as a goon but also won almost 60% of his faceoffs. Almost 900 PIM in a 7 year career, only 6 ft tall but sounds like he is plenty tough.

    And he (Konopka) can kill penalties. Goons don’t exist anymore. There are still some enforcers and he is definitely one of them.
