Thought about getting a few hours in late this afternoon on the water….went out in the garage to get my stuff ready and changed my mind. I don’t deal well with the heat

Good call…I am like a land mass that sucks in the heat…not a good situation in this weather. Caught a few sunnies this morning EARLY with my daughter. Good times!

99 degrees here in Red Wing, according to Intellicast.com

Went by a sign that had the temperature on it an hour ago, 103, very warm here and humid.

    Someone slap Jesse.

We came in at 2 am this morning with a 6 mile boat ride on the way in. Our shirts never dried out.

Just went out to the boat to grab a small metal screw driver. I juggled it all the way back to the camper. It was too hot to hold on to!

108 by the trusty outdoor thermometer.

I just saw 103 on my trusty old garage thermometer. Probably more like 99. This is kind of like -30 degrees vs -35 degrees….does it really matter by a couple degrees?

I packed the kids up and headed to the local pool. We got there and had to wait because someone dropped a deuce in the pool. Thankfully they didn’t have to call in Bill Murray to perform sanitation duties….

Just heard on the 10:00 news that it was 109 here today, she said it was really close to 110 but not quite, its as hot as I’ve ever seen it here. They have a big celebration in downtown here with a big fireworks display and it was just too hot to go. They have misting fans that spray and fan out a mist on the sidewalks in alot of downtown areas to help keep people cool who are attending and keeping things bareable.

    Randy:

Saw 90* on the truck on the way to my bro’s and then on to work… we had a big gust of wind come through and temps dropped to 72*. Blew the power out at Fibber’s, so got to go back and enjoy a fire with Mom & Dad at the bro’s and it was still 72*. Muskies in the a.m., oh wait its almost time.. . hope the storms stay to the west!!!
