I quote….. “A number of new laws passed during the last legislative session are now in effect in Minnesota, as of July 1.
Among the new laws include one that raises the fine for finding invasive species on boats, doubling fines for repeat offenders.
The new law also says conservation officers can order watercraft and other equipment to be removed from waters when necessary.
Officials said they hoped the measure will limit, if not eliminate, zebra mussels on Minnesota lakes.”
