An opportunity has presented itself, looking for pro’s and cons. I am investigating further and looking for some insight from those that have owned resorts or know those who have.

A friend of mine once owned a resort with a few cabins. He said you had to go into it with enough money to keep you floating for about 4 years. He also said with ten cabins, it meant ten sinks to keep working, ten toilets to keep flushing, and ten air conditioners to keep running. You get the idea.

He kept at it for about 11 years but it finally got the best of him. None the less, good luck to you! I hope everything works out.

It does help if you have a partner that can run everything. Then you can go fishing much more often!

I read that wrong. I thought you were offering a certain guy who used to run Everts to run this guys resort when he buys it. His first question would be where is the nearest strip club. His second might be where is the nearest high s… sorry, too far. I will give myself a timeout.
