I’ve lost the drag on my Calcutta 200 ,it has just enough to reel in line and thats it . Ive backed it all the way off then tighten it back down and the same thing happens , just enough drag to reel in the line . Anybody have a clue whats wrong with this reel ? Thanks Thomas

Have you verified that the entire spool of line is not just spinning on the spool? It may sound dumb, but I had that exact same thing happen and I thought the drag was ruined, as it turns out, the spool was still sturning, but the line wasn’t……. easy to check and maybe a free fix….

Have you taken it apart to check things out? Print out a schematic off Shimano’s website and get to work.

Help is what we do here but when I see a subject line like yours I’m thinking someone is in trouble on the river. That happens here as well and many of us are ready to jump at a moments notice to help. Just trying to keep things in perspective.

sounds like you are missing one of the spacers on the shaft that the spool sits on .check the parts list for youre reel and see if you are missing one, or they are in the right order

appears to be a case of a serious reel problem vs a Real-Serious problem
