    I can’t resist………….

We’re worried about a few penned up animals but we have no problem fishing and hunting??

I’m not going to sit here and argue on behalf of zoos, but really, we have a problem with this??

Zoos are lame and should be boycotted anyways..

Wait till you get older like me. You’ll still think zoo’s are lame (like me) but you’ll feel emphathy for the inhabitants.

…….Sounds like BIG CITY kids with Tree Bark Scratches. …rrr..r

Because we hunt and fish doesn’t mean we can’t also be conservationists, naturalists, animal lovers, or just plain compassionate human beings.

I could go on ripping this stupid comment up but I’m not even going to bother..

Seriously, what kind of show are they running at the zoo that they lose animals (refering to dead ones) because of flood water? They couldnt see this coming and escort the donkey and other farm critters to safety rather than letting them drown? Really?! I’ll never step foot in that place.

You should not be so quick to judge, to answer your question no they did not see this coming it happened that fast. There was an 8 year old boy who got washed down a culvert and lived to see another day a very lucky young man. I think making sure all of the residents of Duluth were safe was a higher priority then a few zoo animals.

I would like to throw out the first olive branch and forget all references to the zoo and its inhabitants. I am only concerned with the humans in Duluth and hope all is going well. Thank you.
