mounting a gps antenna

    i need to install my gps antenna on my boat i have a lowrance 3200 global map and need to get the darn antenna installed.the cone that goes on the bottom of the unit screws every thing up. i was thinking velcro for just the top unit itself or is there anything i can purchase to mount the cone base to so as I can mount it to my boat.I’ve already looked at pvc fittings and can’t seem to put anything together that would make this work. anyone own one that has had this problem

    Most new rigs that I see rigged are using velcro on the bottom and sticking it where ever. It holds real well!

    Thanks Bob I had a feeling that velcro was a good way to go
