Sitting in a hotel room up in grand rapids right now. The rain is coming down in sheets and is suppose to last for hours. No fishing or filming for us this afternoon.

Hoping to check it out in the am. Lots more water on the way south to red wing and points beyond from this storm.

I’m trying to think of something for you to do, but coming up with a blank. Take the rest of the day off with pay. I know the boss.

We’re sitting at 61 on this side of the front. Perfect night for watching the twins from the room.

We’ve had only .12″ of rain for the month of June. Send some my way…

What kind of show r u filming James? I got another suggestion for the suggestion box. A show on power corking. I would love to see the finer points of it.

I liked it better in the old days when the river just had a spring flood. I blame the internet.

I don’t feel so bad about sitting the afternoon out in the room any more. It got CRAZY out there!

The really bad areas were blocked off completely by emergency response vehicles. NUTZ!

That is high ground where you videoed that. Is lower GR fully under water? All that water is headed to the Mississippi.

Not sure. We didn’t head towards the river… high ground seemed like a better option. We’re going to try and head that direction this morning but the forecast has been complete changed for an all-day soaker again today.

Came thru yesterday on the way back from URL. Been storminging on the north side all week. 80mph sheer winds chased us out of BlackDuck all the way to MilleLacs.
