Mikes bait on 8 – quality of crawlers?

    I’m looking at getting a flat of crawlers at Mikes Bait on 8 in Forest Lake, for my upcoming canada trip.

    He has hands down the best price, by far.

    What about the quality of the crawlers? anything good or bad to say about his bait?

    I know minnows i’ve gotten there in the past have been good.

    $45 canada packed, in a styrofoam container. everyone else was $60+ and wanted the container supplied. Except Frankies, they are $49.

    Definitely go through them before you buy. Pick a good flat.

    I just got 250 for $25 at the Hudson Fleet Farm this morning and just got done putting them in new bedding. They are not that great looking. I must admit I grabbed a bag without looking in the other two other bags.

    Got a bag from them a month ago and all are still healthy! One of the bags I looked at in the store had a lot of sick looking ones though.

    I bought a dozen there last week and they were fat and healthy. I didn’t use them all and they are still in the fridge doing just fine.
