Here comes the heavy rain again. What will this do to the river? We can’t just have a nice steady rain we have to have 5-6 inches at a time. Call Noah tell him to get the Arc ready. Be careful out there.

Ma and I were in Red Wing working at the shop today and it rained for most of that time. The storm track brought heavy rains not only to Red Wing but to the Minnesota River Valley again as well as areas in Wisconsin that end up in the Miss that saw over 2″ an hour.

Rochester just got a super soaking. Our rain gauge just since 730 or so is well over two inches. This storm system came thru Olmsted and Dodge counties so expect the Zumbro to be up and under a no wake. Behind out house right now the Cascade is way up and moving hard. I expect to see some inpressive water here yet tonight when Silver Lake gets topped off and the river starts to go up.

Send some of that rain to the Green Bay area. We have not had any rain this month.

Even with all the rain it looks like the river levels will be coming up very little around Red wing. maybe just a foot in areas.

Oh boy, this could make the cat tourney interesting. Also any spot changing at night.

I measured 4.5″ in Goodhue. We drove through Cannon Falls about 7 PM last night and it looked nasty. I talked with my brother in Springfield, west of New Ulm, and they got nothing. Hopefully, it all balances out so things can get back to normal. At least we didn’t get hail.

It looks like the Cannon and Little Cannon Rivers are raging. The Little Cannon crushed the record level of 16.6′ I hope we don’t get too much rain tomorrow as predicted.

Wonder if this means there’s a 10 foot wall of water heading towards Everts?

Dave and I might not make it to pool 3 fighting the Tsunami! Might have to ride it down to Pepin instead.
