Line suggestions

    I just bought an Abu Garcia Orra SX and a shimano citica 200e both on Falcon Bucoo 6’6 MH rods. Not the best set up, but something decent for my 2 trips a week. I mostly fish backwaters in pool 14-15 around IL/IA and local lakes/ponds. I have used the Trilene XL smooth casting 12 lb test in the past. Any new line suggestions for the setups mentioned above?

    I switched to fluoro last year. It works great for me for most applications except running lures shallow on top or just beneath the surface.
