    My Dad flew Virgil Ward on a few trips so I will say that’s my favorite.

    Waters & Woods / John Gillespie.

    Hated it the first time I saw / heard it, but it sticks with you…..that’s what they are after……not saying it’s the best, but it’s one of the “stickiest”, IMO.

    That said, Viril Ward’s song has stood the test of time in this ever failing brain of mine. Classic.

    I’m partial to the whistling as Andy Griffith and his son Opie, each with a cane pole slung over the shoulder, walk down the wooded path to the ol’ fishing hole

    My girlfriend refuses to watch the show, but she likes to rock out to the theme song before and after the show.

    That theme music to “Jaws” is tops. Best fishing show ever made.

    Swamp People’s music in the beginning takes the cake….
    They do call it “gator fishing” That show will NEVER get old, because every time I fish I hope to catch a Treeshaker like MR. Troy Landry himself

    Always liked ole Virgils shows, he used to fish public waters
    and didn’t edit out the occasional drum or other unwanted fish

    Shaw Grigsby’s sounds like the Randy Moss “One Clap” theme song. That is annoying.

    If you have had a good day on the water, it is hard to not get into Roland Martins theme song.

    I’ll take IDO’s techno vibe any day and Brian Shram rocking Gillespies song any day!

    I agree with you guys about the content of the show but the post was about theme songs. I like Andy and Opie also, but can’t stand whistlers….especially in the boat.

    And it also wasn’t about TV shows with intros of a dad and his kid walking down the path with fishing poles.
