stuwest Elmwood, WIPosts: 2254 June 2, 2012 at 4:40 pm #1073113 That headline has just too many options. I’ll let the readers mind wander thru them. At least it’s not a long walk to the boat this weekend…AND, you can throw a soaker out the front door…
onestout Hudson, WIPosts: 2698 June 2, 2012 at 4:52 pm #1073119 put the bumpers out the side of the camper and park the boat next to the door, no more wlking to the dock.
Brian KlawitterKeymaster Minnesota/Wisconsin Mississippi RiverPosts: 59992 June 2, 2012 at 5:18 pm #1073123 Latest reading is a crest (that was lowered) of 11.9. Near as I can tell, we’re at about 11′ right now. Forecast shows the river dropping Monday. Photo’s start on Thursday and end at last night. The photo in the first post was from this morning.
red89 HudsonPosts: 918 June 2, 2012 at 6:37 pm #1073133 So do you guys think we will have high water for a while, or will it drop out quickly? I did awesome in early august last year when we still had really high water. If you are lucky you can find some key spots that the fish load up in.

Red, 10 days from now it’s going to be “normal”, if the forecasts are correct. The locals love the high water. Keeps the traffic down and the fishing is just as good as normal and some say better.

Brian KlawitterKeymaster Minnesota/Wisconsin Mississippi RiverPosts: 59992 June 3, 2012 at 4:36 pm #1073214 Looks like the water will be starting to go down tomorrow. It’s back to loading the boat on the trailer.
