What is your favorite? I am just seeing some of these for the first time and am really enjoying them. Watching movies that rely on a solid story, instead of mind blowing computer graphic imagery is refreshing. Last night I watched The Outlaw Josey Wales and enjoyed it greatly. The old Indian had some great lines.

That old Indian was funny as all get out. Love the old westerns.

I also like how he is constantly spitting on the dog.

You also left Unforgiven off the poll, which is unforgivable

x3 I think The Unforgiven is his best.

Prior to reading the responses, I would have said Unforgiven as well.

They are all great flicks. I voted for Good Bad and Ugly but High plains drifter is a tie. “What forcible rape in public isn’t even a misdemeanor in this town?”

My favorite Eastwood movie was “Paint your Wagon” Lee Marvin. Lot’s great scenes in that one.

Gotta go with “other” and Unforgiven. What a great story and done so well in Big Whiskey were you check your gun at the gate. The 3 spaghetti western by Sergio Leone and Josey Wales are all tied for second place

Throw High Plains Drifter on the second place team for me

I can’t believe Two Mules for Sister Sara made the poll. By far the worst western Clint ever did. Any movie where Lee Marvin is singing should be on the ban list. And Joe Kidd wasn’t half bad. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is the best. Josey Wales isn’t far behind.

    Unforgiven

It’s not a western but I remember when the Gauntlet came out and my grandmother would not let us watch it.

Ahh come on you have to add in Kelly’s Heroes. Western Germany counts doesn’t it? Too many good actors in that movie.

Just got off Waconia, the fish are snapping. Good to see some opinions. I have seen only as couple on the list. If you’re wondering where I got my list I searched Clint Eastwood Western and this is what came up. Looks like the list was rather incomplete. Also looks like I got some movie watching to do.

Love the 60’s lingo in that movie, I am guessing that Oddball aka Donald Sutherland was burning a few to get into “character”

The Good the Bad and the Ugly…Absolute Classic

The voice overs are historic who needs lip syncing anyway
